Michael Krajewski

A favorite with audiences across the United States and Canada, Michael Krajewski brings to the podium imaginative and entertaining programs as well as a delightful sense of humor. Audiences who attend his concerts leave smiling, remembering the evening's music and surprises.

Krajewski is Principal Pops Conductor of the Houston, New Mexico and Jacksonville Symphonies, and is conductor of the New Hampshire Music Festival pops series. Much in demand as a guest conductor, he has appeared with the Boston Pops Orchestra and the symphony orchestras of San Francisco, Detroit, Baltimore, Atlanta, St. Louis, San Diego, San Antonio, Phoenix, Ottawa, Edmonton, Oregon, Rhode Island, North Carolina, and many more. Summer appearances have included the Eastern Music Festival, Lake Tahoe Summer Music Festival, the Ft. Worth Symphony's Concerts in the Garden, and performances at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion with the Houston Symphony. He has performed with Judy Collins, Roberta Flack, Art Garfunkel, Doc Severinsen, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Cab Calloway, Al Hirt, The Kingston Trio, The Canadian Brass and Ben E. King, among others.

Krajewski has recorded two Christmas CDs with the Houston Symphony and Chorus, "Christmas Festival" and "Glad Tidings," the latter featuring President George H.W. Bush as narrator.

Born in Detroit, Michael Krajewski holds degrees from Wayne State University and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and furthered his training with studies at the Pierre Monteux Domaine School for Conductors. He was a Dorati Fellowship Conductor with the Detroit Symphony and an artist intern with the Michigan Opera Theatre. For eleven years he served as music director of the Modesto Symphony Orchestra. He has also held positions as music director of the Detroit Symphony Civic Orchestra, assistant conductor of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and resident conductor of the Florida Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Krajewski has twice received awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) for adventuresome programming of contemporary music.

David Warble

DAVID WARBLE was born in 1950 into a family of respected musicians in Indianapolis, Indiana. He appears as guest conductor throughout the United States and Europe. Among his musical activities, Mr. Warble has served as Guest Conductor for the Long Island Philharmonic, Music Director of the Orange County (CA) Symphony, Conductor Emeritus of the Disney-Grammy Symphony Orchestra, Founding Music Director of the California Wind Orchestra, and conductor for film and Broadway stars Betty Buckley and Jodi Benson.

Mr. Warble is the featured conductor on the London Symphony Orchestra recording of Johan de Meijí’s Symphony #1, “The Lord of the Rings”, recorded at Golder's Green Hall in London, and released in December 2001. To date, this classical release has sold more than 250,000 copies worldwide.

Mr. Warble has conducted the following major ensembles: Dallas Symphony, New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, Pacific Symphony, Utah Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Tulsa Philharmonic, Fort Worth Symphony, Delaware Symphony, Long Island Philharmonic, New World Symphony, Cincinnati Pops, Louisville Symphony, Denver Symphony Orchestra, Toledo Symphony, Imperial Symphony (FL).
